GCSE Art: Liverpool
On Wednesday, 29th March, a group of Year 10 Art pupils travelled to Liverpool to take inspiration for their upcoming GCSE Art project. The trip started with a photo opportunity at the Chinese Gate before walking through the Baltic area of Liverpool to enjoy the variety of street art. Pupils had their cameras with them to take photos for work in their sketchbooks.
Pupils then travelled onto St. John’s Gardens to enjoy their lunch outdoors.
In the afternoon, pupils visited the World Museum to see the Egyptian and World Cultures Galleries. They also enjoyed a visit to the Walker Museum with a wide variety of sculptures, designs and paintings on display too.
A really enjoyable day of art and culture was had by everyone.
