Year 8 Future’s Day
On Wednesday, 15th March, Year 8 were visited by the Young Enterprise team as part of the ‘Learn to Earn’ programme.
It was an opportunity for pupils to reflect on their talents and skills, to learn about a wide range of careers and the education pathways associated with them. To learn about starting salaries, tax, the cost of living and take part in financial planning and budgeting activities.
The pupils really enjoyed the day and many of them expressed how much they learnt about different careers, salary levels and the cost of different lifestyle choices.
