Year 7: Basketball

The Year 7 basketball team played tremendously well in a strong victory against St Wilfrid’s CE Academy on Monday 3rd April.

The game was a quarter final of the Lancashire Cup competition and the win now gives Our Lady’s a place in finals night where they will play their semi-final and (hopefully) final on the same night.

In the game against St Wilfrid’s, the points were shared around the team with Deneo and Freddie scoring important points while Oliver, Bobby and Sam combined well to add many more. Patrick and Harry also scored impressively but it was William’s buzzer beating 2 point swish that got the biggest cheer of the game.

The final score was 28-12 to Our Lady’s.
