Charity Netball Match: Staff v Pupils
The highly anticipated re-match of staff versus Year 10 and 11 (mixed netball teams) took place during Monday lunchtime. Staff were eager for a clean sweep after narrowly beating Year 10 last time, but suffering a defeat at the hands of Year 11.
The game was extremely fast paced. Year 10 were the first to score and were soon ahead by two goals. However, the experience of staff prevailed as they won several key interceptions, maintaining their composure to win the match 10-5.
It was a great effort by Year 10 and Year 11. Pupils are all eager for another re-match next half term.
£45 was raised in total for charity thanks to donations from players and spectators.
