LUSoM Visitor
On Monday, 13th March, pupils in Year 11x1E had a taster session from Ella McConville from The Lancaster University School of Maths (LUSoM).
Within the session, pupils were given a chance to test their problem solving and reasoning skills on different aspects of Maths beyond GCSE level. Pupils learnt about the opportunities available at LUSOM and ways in which they could follow a pathway linked to STEM subjects; taught in a different way, in a brand new setting in Preston. Several pupils have already applied to LUSoM and admissions are still open should anyone still be interested.
