European Day of Languages
On Monday 26th September, we celebrated the European Day of Languages with a Bake Off style competition. At home, pupils baked and decorated cakes, cupcakes, biscuits and even a pizza based on different European countries and brought them in for judging by the Languages teachers, Mrs Ardern and Mrs Crossley. The standard of entries was particularly high and we have some very talented pupils!
To celebrate further, throughout the week, pupils and staff are being challenged to greet each other in form time and in lessons in different European languages, including this year Spanish, Italian, Croatian, Dutch and Ukrainian.
