Futurechef 2020
The year 10 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition class took part in the school heat of the Futurechef 2020 competition. The judges, Mr Gormally, Mrs Morris, Mrs Gunson and Mrs Yates commented that the exceptionally high level of skill and techniques demonstrated this year made judging especially difficult. The winning two pupils were Leah Highcock with her Luxury Fish Pie and Steamed Vegetables and Bradley Simpson with his Cottage Pie and Vegetables. They will now go on to represent OLCHS at the local heat of the competition next week. We wish them good luck!
