Maths Feast Year 10
On Thursday 30th March OLCHS won one of the North West rounds of the Maths Feast run by the Further Mathematics Support Programme. The Year 10 Maths Feast is an enjoyable and challenging team competition testing mathematical, team-working and communication skills. Questions include both recreational mathematics and some of a more traditional nature. One of the aims of the competition is to encourage more pupils to take mathematics at A level. The team of four pupils worked together on a set of problems. They were victorious against 7 other teams including Holy Cross Chorley, Bury Grammar School and Carr Hill at Kirkham.
